Simayof Launch Event for San Francisco Symphony Opening Night Party 2007

2007-05-23 - In celebration of the crown jewel of the June Festival, the San Francisco Symphony Opening Night Party with Russian virtuoso Sergei Prokofiev, Simayof, in conjunction with the San Francisco League & Symphonix, hosted a spectacular launch party at its flagship store on Union Square during the evening of May 23, 2007.

The launch party was given a special flair and sparkle by two prominent displays presented by Simayof as the highlight of the evening. Guests could not help but be drawn to these magnificent Russian-inspired, one-of-a-kind, diamond rings that rivaled any crown jewel known to man. One of them was a stunning 16.01 ct. tw. radiant-cut yellow diamond ring, elegantly four-prong set and surrounded by 3.09 ct. tw. brilliant-cut round diamonds, all set in handcrafted 18k platinum. The distinctiveness of this exquisite piece of jewelry rendered an all-around striking effect through which beauty and sophistication came together flawlessly.

The second ring on display was fashioned from a magnificent purple pink oval shaped diamond weighing 2.06 ct. and four-prong set into 18k white gold. Flanking this unique center piece was a pair of 0.58 ct. tw. half-moon shaped diamonds, surrounded by 0.96 ct. tw. bezel-set brilliant-cut round diamonds that created a delicate and symmetrical band of brilliance.

Throughout the evening, guests savored delectable hors d'oeuvres and complimentary cocktails, while enjoying the crowd rich with Bay Area dignitaries. Among the ambassadors of the San Francisco Symphony was Bob Lasher, Director of Development. "Both the San Francisco Symphony and Simayof Jewelers are local establishments who truly care about the community", he said. "I would like us to continue using every opportunity to make contributions that foster it", he added.
